Team

The Desna Rehabilitation Center is first and foremost about people who ensure the daily operation of the center, support the recovery process, and create a safe, calm, and dignified environment for everyone staying here.

The team is formed through a combination of professional experience, personal responsibility, and a deep understanding of the real needs of people undergoing rehabilitation. We do not rely on template solutions or universal approaches — each case requires attention, time, and an individual approach.

Coordination and Management

The coordination team is responsible for the overall organization of the center’s work, strategic planning, cooperation with partners, charitable organizations, and individual donors.

Its responsibilities include ensuring stable operation of the center, monitoring internal processes, developing infrastructure, and maintaining the principles on which Desna’s activities are based.

Rehabilitation Specialists

Rehabilitation specialists work with both physical and psychological recovery of people staying at the center. They participate in designing rehabilitation programs, adapting workloads, and supporting the process of returning to an active life.

Special attention is given to gradual progress, safety, and realistic goals, which helps avoid overloads and ensures steady recovery.

Psychological and Social Support

Psychological and social support is an integral part of the recovery process. This work focuses on stabilizing emotional state, reducing stress levels, and restoring inner balance.

The team also assists with adaptation to everyday life and planning further steps after completing the rehabilitation period.

Volunteers and Daily Support

Volunteers and assistants provide daily support for the center by helping with household tasks, logistics, organization of space, and creating a comfortable atmosphere for residents.
